In response to Pope Francis’s invitation to higher education institutions, 西雅图 University's (SU) President Peñalver signed a letter of commitment in September 2021 to participate in the “Seven-Year Journey Towards Integral Ecology” 和 Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP). In September 2021, President Peñalver signed on to the Laudato Si' Action Platform (LSAP), in response to Pope Francis’s invitation to higher education institutions. As stated in the foundational goal of 西雅图 University’s Reigniting Our Strategic Directions 2022-2027 “We will commit to institutional participation in Pope Francis’ seven-year journey toward integral ecology, through the Laudato Si Action Platform and in community with other catholic universities.”
Inspired by the seven Laudato Si' Action Platform Goals, 西雅图 University identified four Priorities that will guide the goals and actions of our seven-year journey toward integral ecology.
